Third London Land Rover Dealership
A third London Land Rover dealership has further strengthened the Charles Hurst name and helps to consolidate its position as the premier name for the brand in the capital.
Formerly Dovercourt, the business in Battersea adopts the Charles Hurst name like its sister dealerships in South Kensington and Park Royal. The business was acquired when Charles Hurst Land Rover’s parent company Lookers Plc succeeded with its £53 million bid for Dutton Forshaw which owned Dovercourt.
With a 25-strong staff, Charles Hurst Battersea incorporates a showroom where six new vehicles are displayed, a dedicated on-site workshop and an Approved Used car display of around 25 vehicles. Now all three dealerships have access to an approved used vehicle stock of around 75 as part of Charles Hurst Land Rover, and with 11 Land Rover dealerships in East Anglia, Essex, Scotland and Northern Ireland, access to a group stock of more than 250 vehicles. Chris Green, who has headed up the South Kensington and Park Royal businesses for the past 18-months, becomes franchise general manager with responsibility for all three sites.
