Powered side steps
Whilst side steps have been offered before as an accessory for The
Range Rover, for the first time with The Range Rover 07MY, customers
can opt for powered side steps.
Designed to make life easier when getting in and out of the vehicle, the powered side steps are more effective than fixed alternatives as they can be deployed further out from the side of the vehicle so providing a 'true step' to aid entry, exit and roof loading.
Key to their appeal is that they deploy and stow automatically, for example when a door is opened or when all doors are closed. They can also be deployed manually, a useful feature that makes roof loading much easier. Located beneath the side stills, when stowed they also form a stylish addition to the external trim, with a bright edge finish and integrated extrusions with Land rover branding.
